So, Triplets is "somebody's commercial idea", but Ghostbusters 3 apparently isn't? Also, @John Q…uhhh…didn't Ghostbusters show us the origins of the Ghostbusters? Or are you wanting to see a 10 year old Ray having nightmares about Stay Puft and his pal Egon straightening a slinky to catch a ghost?

This isn't rocket science, folks–just do as they did with Star Trek–REBOOT– and show us the origins of the Ghostbusters. Stop screwing around waiting for Bill Murray. Ain't gonna happen.

So the first paragraph states that Reitman said something in January 2011, then the next paragraph says "fast forward more than two years". The math doesn't work for me.
