Malick is deeply involved in this restoration and I am told "it won't just be a Blu-Ray." It will get the full Criterion treatment.

Terrific news, but lately I have been hoping beyond hope for The Long Goodbye to get the Criterion treatment. Or at least a decent Blu Ray.
