Oh please I dont know what trailers and tv spots you saw but everyone I know can't wait for this movie. But I dont expect MTV to take any chances much easier to say it will suck than say its good. Because if this movie is awesome no one remembers the nay sayers where if it bombs everyone remembers sho is hyping it. So go ahead and huddle in the corner until you can come out and say we always knew it would be awesome MTV.

Oh please Debbie Downer. This is going to be great. Sometimes you get in the promo what is going to be on the screen and the advance tickets are flying out of the box office. Our family has already bought theirs and we won't be surprised if the film requires a second viewing.

Why was there no mention of the recent screening, which showed the first 15-20 minutes, as well as an action scene. The reaction to that was very positive.

My hopes are pretty low--- Mangold's love of glum histrionics and self-important sermonizing makes him look more like Sam Mendes Jr. then the dude to handle a gritty horror noir with a mutated hero. And Hugh Jackman, while a wonderful actor, always looks like he is grimacing though a particularly trying run through of Guys and Dolls when he is in Wolverine mode. I like to imagine what would have happened if the movie had been made by a body horror specialist like David Cronenberg, with, of course, Viggo Mortensen playing Wolverine

Overblown? Wouldn't say that. Look at every other blockbuster this summer-- MOS, IM3, Trek, Pacific Rim, etc. Those films are huge in scope and size. By comparison, The Wolverine is a much smaller film, with the stakes more personal and low-key.
