I don\’t need another Jungle Book movie, but I WANT a movie faithful to Edgar Rice Burroughs\’ Tarzan, which has never really been done before, even in Greystoke. All signs point to a different take this time, fingers crossed. Don\’t care if it costs 200M if it\’s good.

Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan is what\’s wrong with the movie. Casting is 90 percent of a film\’s success, and he\’s wrong for the role. Wait til the reviews come out, that\’s what they all will say. We know the story is compelling, so that won\’t be the problem. Skarsgard was wrong for the role. No amount of reshoots is going to change that.

if anything, Tarzan is a far more recognisable, iconic character than anything Marvel have ever cooked up. Hopefully the odious trend of pillaging public domain characters will end after this and Peter Pan tank..

Tarzan, King Arthur, and Jungle Book Origin. Warner should cancel Jungle Book movie already. Do we really need a jungle book movie two years in a row?

The "non-branded" line caught me off guard too, but I think the writer might me "non-branded" in the sense that Tarzen can\’t be easily found on tv as a cartoon, t-shirts, children\’s toys, underoos… that type of branding unlike Marvel and DC comic book heroes can. If not, then, idk.
