I want say that Mark Ruffalo will end up doing five more films with the Avengers and another movie which is not a Hulk movie.

I haven't seen the Ang Lee "Hulk." I have a major issue with how Lee was talking about the Hulk in this philosophical way, and I kinda' didn't think he "got" Hulk. I mean as a kid my siblings and neighborhood kids would play comics and the person that always played the Hulk was my fat cousin (who didn't like to run around so much, so him sitting on you was the Hulk smash) or the shy kid. I just didn't like Lee's vibe, so I didn't see the movie. Awhile ago I fell asleep on the couch, and when I woke up I saw what looked to be a small indie movie with Norton and Liv Tyler. I was really intrigued, dozing in and out, and then I suddenly saw Norton's "Hulk" and connected the two. Yeah… I liked the cast of the latter "Hulk," but the movie sucked. I think if they were to do a third "Hulk" we don't need another origin story. We need a mild story. We all know how this ordinary scientist blah blah blah, Hulk, fight, blah. But what about after Bruce has lived with the Hulk inside him for a few years? How do you live like that? That to me is the more intriguing story. Seeing Hulk smashing things is fun, but I could watch that on any cartoon. I want to see the story where the man and the beast kinda' need to live with each other for the long haul. And I would like to see "She-Hulk." I am sorry, as a kid I always felt bad for her.

I don't know. I think what helped make the Hulk work in 'The Avengers' is that he was a supporting character and not a lead. The inherent problem I think with the Hulk is that the second Banner becomes the Green Meanie he's just a CG character. He might occasionally get in danger but it usually boils down to "Grind CG teeth and throw giant punch" and any reaction shot to the Hulk is a CG effect.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Hulk show up in a couple other characters movies as a sidekick – i.e. he could show up in Thor 2 to offer assistance – but I think a Hulk solo film falls into the same grounds the previous two versions fell into- once the final battle came along it was just two cartoon characters throwing punches at each other for 20 minutes.

Saw the one with e.norton in it the other day on the telly. All in all, prob the worst film Ive ever seen with not one redeeming feature. Nothing in it worked cos no one really could be bothered to make it work it seems. Such a blazing turd of a film.
