					<description><![CDATA[Years ago when I was editing the Super Bowl TV Spot for Star Trek (09), we were discussing fan service and whether or not to include a shot of the Enterprise or a shot of Spock. They&#039;re thought was that the fans were already going to see the movie so we did&#039;t have to appeal to them. It was the non-Trek fans that they wanted to appeal to. They did of course end up appealing to both fans and non-fans as I believe all shows and movies based on a show or a comic book are trying to do. This idea that a studio would invest millions of dollars just to make something for people who are already going to watch it is both ridiculous and kind of insulting. It&#039;s also insulting to think that critics are going into something not wanting to like it. That is just a flat out lie.]]></description>
