I'm saying, read our review. The movie was boring. It works like a novel, but it's uncinematic and its slow like Jackie Brown without much action.

That said, i liked Jackie Brown, but Basterds doesn't work. There's no suspense or tension cause everything is really spelled out from the get-go. You're alerted to the mission along the way, you're alerted to the twists....

He lost the plot. It's an excellent, amazing read and not really adapted for the screen well. Should have been a mini-series and then it would have worked with the low-stakes.

When you say I should expect something akin to Jackie Brown -- that actually perks my interest. I actually think Jackie Brown may be Tarantino's best movie. I thought it was thrilling without being, you know, on-the-surface thrilling. So much of what was going on was happening in tiny little character moments. The people were rich, ya know?

So, when you say that this movie is like Jackie Brown, are you saying that it's going to be underrated but excellent? Or are you saying something else?

That trailer was awesome up to the point where it got into the details of the ludicrous plotline.

Weinstein must be pulling every trick he has to fool people into showing up.
