Our question is does a country in a recession want to see a film about a decade filled with the exact opposite issues: hedonistic excess?>

I think all the films based on Ellis’ works have been polarizing, so this means they at least captured the tone.

Pucci's a damn good young actor, loved him in Thumbsucker.

When a film is this polarizing, you have to wonder if that's the filmmaker's primary intention. Hopefully not...
