Goddamn, Millenium Actress was a beautiful movie. I'd nearly forgotten about it, as I haven't seen it since it debuted in the states, so thanks for reminding me of it.

I need to see his other works as well. I hadn't realized Paprika was the same guy, or else I'd have seen it by now. Oh well.

Like you say, it's hard to see any upside to this tragic news, but at least I now have a reason to watch some Anime - something I've not done for a few years.
