Movies like Blue is the warmest color, The Handmaiden, Winter Sleep really should have been in the foreign Oscar contention, these are some of the most beautiful, profound movies made in the last decade and were not even nominated. And a lot of independent cinema that is much lower budget and has some true gems among them that isn’t even considered (mumblecore directors and those that make movies under 1mio usd)
