The sorry projects that make it past the assistant's assistant's desk in LA that never should have seen the light of day are most of them.

We do have a smaller pool of actors (having one tenth of your population does result in that).

Regarding Phil the Alien, it is truly one of the worst films of all time but it no more exemplifies our industry than let's say My Winnipeg or the Cronenburgs.
