Doesn\’t it seem likely that the meeting Elba mentioned previously was for Pacific Rim and he isn\’t involved at all with Django Unchained? Isn\’t Smith all but locked?

Damn, I really should have proofread my comment before I submitted it…

… but anyway, yeah, that particular role is a secondary one, but also an important one. He\’s basically Raleigh\’s instructor/commander.

WOW, are you jumping to conclusions. They can\’t be brothers if one\’s black and the one is white… plus, Raleigh\’s brother isn\’t… nevermind.

I\’m certain the role Elba is being considering for is that of Lieutenant-Commander Stacker Pentecost, who\’s actually described as a black Briton in script.

And it\’s a sizable role. Good casting, if true.
