I think the whole Foreign language committee voting procedure has to be re-evaluated.

But anyway, the short list sets IDA up for the win. It probably deserves it, but it in no way means it was the Best Foreign Language film of the year. Where is Winter Sleep, Two Days One Night, Mommy etc?

Had those films made the short list, i doubt IDA would have taken the prize.

Everyone knows that Ida aka that holocaust movie will win, that\’s why they snubbed better films like Two Days, One Night and Mommy that were the frontrunners.
