Its probably a lot easier to get permission to use a song in a film than it is to release it on a CD.

There are also a couple of other songs I wanted to hear but don"t know the artists. Very frustrating. Not to say that the songs on the soundtrack aren't great songs. I just wish the other songs were on it as well. The movie was so great and the music was too.

This is not a mix tape from the 90's, it's an 80's mix. I know, I as lived it being a '85 grad. It's a pretty damn good rep of one as well. In my opinion. Sadly, the movie just doesn't represent much of the reality of such reunions. It's amazing how many out of control kids end up seriously square adults. Not me, but in my experience, the more drugs they did the more straight they end up. I was straight edge in school so I guess that explains my lack of social structure. LOL. Anyway, those were the last of the really good times.
