Little did we know at the time, but Bob Woodward worked in the Nixon administration as late as 1970 as some kind of intelligence briefer to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs (and Alexander Haig). Imagine that! It's true.

Furthermore, Mark Felt was evidently not really Deep Throat. It's all in this new book, which is probably why Woodward is looking to do a rewrite of Watergate with Redford:
