After watching The Last Jedi a few days ago, I wonder if anyone in charge at Disney is actually capable of reading. The script for that movie has so many plotholes, you can fly Snoke’s flagship through them. And what’s even worse, is that the movie is also full of redundant scenes that could’ve been replaced for things that would’ve improved the film immensely.

Concerning Solo, I don’t see how can they go even worse. Honestly hoping it’s a decent movie, if not good, and hopefully it will surprise like Rogue One did, which I considered much better than TFA.

Depending on Ehrenreich’s performance, “Solo” should be a good movie. In the very capable hands of Ron Howard, a great filmmaker in his own right, the movie will more than likely rise above the negativity surrounding the Lord & Miller version. Truthfully, you shouldn’t have too much improvisation in a film set in a galaxy far, far away.

In reply to Hal_Jordan77. We’re talking about “Solo” here people, not “The Last Jedi”. TLJ is on the screen as intended; even as far as Carrie Fisher was involved. And Disney loved the script ever since it was turned in, reportedly.

In reply to alex. Unfortunately, Rian Johnson was monitoring the Last Jedi script(he wrote and directed the movie). The Last Jedi does indeed have quite a few things wrong with it, but those things are the way they are because the hack writer/director wanted them to be that way.
