I loved the movie but McQueen clearly fell in love with his temp score and the composer ripped it off. That was my only problem with the film.

It's a bit, if I dare say it, slightly forgettable.

Fall On Your Sword deserve lots of props for mixing traditional orchestral and experimental electronic music to fuse together the romance and sci-fi elements so well. The scores for 'The Artist' (obviously), 'Drive,' and 'Hanna' were perhaps the only scores I thought more integral to the storytelling this year than in 'Another Earth.' The scores for 'Bellflower' and 'Rango' were outstanding as well.
