After Sucker Punch flopped Warner Bros didn't trust Snyder so they brought Nolan in to make sure Snyder didn't ruin another one for them. Man of Steel is a Chris Nolan film and Snyder only stayed part of it because 300 made Warners so much money.

I love Playlist, but please:

1. Nolan is not executive producing, he's credited as a producer. So is Emma Thomas.
2. Nolan has a story credit and hired Zack Snyder to direct.
3. Nolan brought Hans Zimmer to the mix.
4. Story elements similar to Batman Begins.
5. This superman wouldn't have happened without Nolan calling Robinov and WB.
6. Cavill even states he doesn't know what went on in pre/post-production.

And of course Nolan will say its Zack's film in interviews. A) Because it is. He directed the film, not Nolan. B) If he took all the credit in interviews he would come across as an asshole.

But that was not my point. Don't hide behind the fact that this aticle is ALL about getting traffic, and not about content.

And why wouldn't it be all Zack Snyder? He is the director of the fucking movie. It's interesting to see how people (looking at you bloggers) jump the gun to give Nolan sole credit for the entire thing due to the success of his previous movies and fanboy worship.

Zack Snyder is not the greatest living director of our times by any means but at least he certainly has a "vision" and is capable of delivering far more interesting products than a lot of the generic shit you see out there when it comes to summer blockbusters. Filmmakers DO evolve… for better or worse.
Personally I can't wait to see what he does with Superman and what hopefully is a solid script by Goyer, shepherd by Nolan.
