					<description><![CDATA[The cool thing about this is that it&#x27;s actually got a lot of potential. As shitty as the movies themselves are (after the first two), they Hellraiser mythology is so rich and expansive that it is kind of a more modern equivalent of Lovecraft&#x27;s Cthulhu Mythos. Like the Cthulu universe, Barker&#x27;s Hellraiser world offers a shit ton of leeway for reinvention and interpretation and expansion. I mean, watching every one of the movies proves this, although most of them suck balls - the point remains valid that every one of the movies takes a different approach to the mythology. 

It&#x27;s far more likely that the TV show will be just as much of a disgrace as the recent movie offernings, but at the same time it could easily be another &#034;Highlander: the Series&#034; - at least worthy of a cult following and still a better treatment of the mythos than all but the first couple of films. Let&#x27;s just hope it&#x27;s not as dreadfully boring as The Walking Dead.]]></description>
