					<description><![CDATA[Probably for the best -- the movies were perplexing disappointments to this fan of the amazing comic source material, especially given the talent involved. Mignola himself was helping bring his creations to the screen, but seems as frustrated as I was by the results. I love Hellboy, love (most of) the cast of the movies, love the director, but the movies were much less than the sum of their parts, with so much liberty taken in the adaptation that it was stuck 70% of the way to something personal that del Toro wanted to do that happened to be called Hellboy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It probably also doesn&#039;t help that I&#039;m probably one of about six people on Earth that even bothered to watch the sequel...]]></description>
