While what they say may be true, NF will eclipse their subscriber base, if not already. And so what if NF is crowded. If your show is amazing, it will filter itself out naturally. People will recommend shows they love, and the hype for your show will build. HBO should be scared because the ONLY reasons people have them is bundling with CABLE and GOT. As cable goes by the wayside, their viewership will dwindle, because most will not want more than one streaming service. Most will have NF over HBOGO. NF’s strategy may be to just overwhelm all others through sheer volume. A few megahits here and there will be all they need to keep your subscription. The only thing NF has to worry about is a company with a sht-ton of money (Apple/Amazon) that can outspend them. Disney also has an outside chance by acquiring HULU through FOX and also having that irresistible back catalog.
