Kruger was pretty terrific in Inglorious Bastards. I guess SAG voters must be crazy if they nominated her for her turn in Bastards. I\’m sticking this one out. There are very few up and coming models turned actors that I actually like, but Kruger is certainly one to watch.

@Snoop- I don\’t know if your comment is directed at me, and if it is, I\’m not ignoring Beckinsale\’s capabilities. She is at the very best a mediocre actress that is great eye candy but is more filler than substance. I have yet to see her give a terrific performance. She was decent in The Aviator, but to me that might have been her best performance in years. Her breakout performances were suppose to be Pearl Harbor and Serendipity… and we all know how that went. She wasn\’t terrible in Pearl Harbor, I\’ll give you that but clunky dialogue and so-so acting doesn\’t really do much.

Kruger? When I see her name here I think it\’s a typo. I can\’t think of anyone who actually thinks that Kruger can act! (Cause she can\’t.) It\’s like watching paint dry when she walks upon the screen.

It\’s silly to ignore Beckinsale\’s capabilities and imply Kruger is vastly more talented. Beckinsale was great in Snow Angels and Nothing But the Truth, so while she\’s made a lot of crap, she\’s got it in her to give a good performance.

They should just cast whoever has the best chemistry with Cruise. Hunch tells me that would be Atwell.

All three of you are wrong. Kruger is by far the best. She was superb in Inglorious Bastards and is a mesmerizing actress. Beckinsale was the weakest link in The Aviator and clearly her career has taken a downwards spiral with a supporting role in Real Steel next to Jackman and robots. Underworld is a joke at this point. Atwell seems to have charm and a bit of enigma but she\’s not an \”Actress\” just yet. Kruger ftw.

Hayley Atwell is my first choice out of the three. She is really gorgeous and very talented.
