Although Cunningham had potential. He was always just a mimic. Firstly with his artwork being just another Bisley clone. Then his film work just being a clone is David Fincher. He never had any true originality. Sorry to be hard on the guy. But that is just reality. That is the simple truth as to why he disappeared.

I don\’t think Chris Cunningham \’never made it\’. He just chose not to. From what I read about him, he was always weary about losing creative control to hollywood studios, so preferred creative projects instead. He\’s also said that he always felt guilty when doing advertising commercials for cash injections. I think he\’d rather live a creative life then sell his soul for money.

He\’s definitely a visual short form video talent, Bohmer. I\’d need to see how he handles long form narratives to declare him a genius, though. It really sucks he hasn\’t made any films.

Somebody should make a investigation on why Cunningham never made it. The guy is a genius and somehow never did anything since a decade plus. I heard he\’s a strong headed dude who doesn\’t want to feed Hollywood for the sake of it but in the process never feed anybody whatsoever!

Ah, has there ever been an up and coming director who never up and came? Talking about Cunningham. Dude worked with Kubrick, Was in line to direct William Gibson\’s Necromancer, etc. Just bad luck or is the guy difficult?
