Not the best choice, unless you WANT to make Lovecraft fans hate you. The problem with most directors today is they forget the greatest horror movies like NOTLD & TCM, were low budget productions made by college kids for less than a million each. BIG BUDGET horror like Exorcist & Alien weren\’t as good or as frightening. They had no GRIT. The truth is Del Toro is a wimp. If the studios won\’t give him 300 million dollars, he should do a \”Blair Witch\” cheapo version for 30 million. Then it won\’t matter if it gets an \”R\” rating.

On a side note, Guillermo del Toro is not Spanish, he\’s Mexican.
