I’m about Gerwig’s age. I only knew he married Soon-Yi but never knew the extent of all the allegations until a few years ago. When Woody’s scandal initially broke out in the 90s, I was about 5 and didn’t really discover his movies for another decade. I’m sure Gerwig was more-or-less in the same boat.
