In Gravity, Aningaaq speaks eastgreenlandic, but ind the shortfilm he speaks westgreenlandic. Orto is from eastgreenland, so why does he speak westgreenlandic in the shortfilm?
There is a big difference between the dialects.

What is cool about seeing it before Gravity is that I was likely the only person in the theatre who knew what the Inuit character was saying on the other end of Bullock's conversation. Most people will only understand one side of the conversation but if you've seen the short you know what the other guy is saying and it's rather bittersweet.
