That would be all well and good if Cary Fukanaga and M. Blash hadn't already directed distinctive, original spots in a similar vein. Not only is it a DGG rip and a Malick rip, but it's a pale fascimile of Fukanaga and Blash's work before.

I love Hillcoat, but this is not at all his style. I get needing money, and doing commercials, and fulling a client's wishes, but he could have done something more in his own voice.

Yes, but while we have seen and value The New World, 99% of America has not seen and will not see the film. So rejoice in the fact that consumers will get to experience a small ounce of the joy that the film's climax provides.

Wow. John Hilcoat swiped the Audio track from the New World and put under a cheap imitation of George Washington. For Money. This 2 minute spot was probably 10 times the budget of the latter film.

Yeah it's the same Wagner pice Malick used in The New World, and used it better. Add that to the young girl whispering narration and it's quite a rip.
