Would love to see Fincher & Zillian tackle the next two 'Dragon' books, the first was great adult fair , despite being the second interpretation; it was fresh and thrilling. I think the fallback was too much on box office unfortunately which soely lies at Sony for releasing it during Christmas. If Fincher bails it could easily turn into psuedo intellectual crap like The DaVinci Code

Good decision by Sony to drop the Sandler project, sounds like a turkey at the start to me. Also good that Bill Murray won't be associated with the 'Ghostbusters' reboot. All the original cast, writers, producers should let their legacy rest, its a good one. Best to remake with a new, young cast entirely. Sony has made some bad decisions, 'Dragon Tattoo', Sandler's 'Jack & Jill' etc. Best the studio goes for more commercial product & ends deals where its required to take all the risk & then get minimal profit if the movie is successful i.e. Sander's & Will Smith
