he didn’t swear off film as in movies, cinema etc, he swore off the medium of film, film stock, a series of pictures on a strip of plastic you put through a projector, etc, because of how infinitely better suited digital was to his filmmaking style. jeeze I didn’t think people were still in 2016 repeating this completely misinterpreted quote from 10 years ago.

I imagine it’s coming second quarter of 2017 because their probably going to do something like rerun the original to coincide with the time of year it took place in, starting around february, maybe.
