Rude people, giggly/obnoxious teenagers, cell phones, fidgety children, poor projection, etc.. At home you are able to control the amount of distractions present. And if one occurs you have the ability to pause the film and miss none of the magic. The public and ticket prices are the main reasons theaters are losing out.
