Figured it was about time Hollywood tried to piss off Alan Moore once again. At least this time, should this film actually happen, a vast majority of the budget won\’t need to be blown on the salary of a single actor in it. Maybe we\’ll get less of a typical Indiana Jones-styled action flick and more like the complex narrative Moore actually laid out across the multi-volume series. Sorry, if you think I wrote that last line without laughing uncontrollably, you\’re wrong. I just couldn\’t do it.

Guess there was at least one movie made in the last 20-30 years that hasn\’t yet been rebooted. I\’m sure some corporate suit at Fox thinks they are going to make some shared universe of movies out of this. Rrrrrright. Not going to get many people lined up to see a Captain Nemo solo movie or sell many Mina Harker action figures, lmao. Between the glut of reality shows on TV and the glut of reboots at the theaters, the state of the entertainment industry has become depressing.
