Frankly the fact that it's not going to be awards bait is a good thing. The Academy has horrible fucking taste and the fact that Focus thinks Fukanaga's film won't appeal to them probably means it's great and non-traditional.

Shutter Island got moved and it's definitely going to be in my top 10 this year.

Or the film is skewing much, much younger with Wasikowska in the lead than we're expecting.
