Anyway, I\’m uncertain about this. Never been one of those "women don\’t belong in the lead roles"/etc. blowhards, so none of that bothers me. Something about the photos makes it seem as though a sense of personality is lacking but they are just photos after all so I\’ll stay on the fence with my outlook until something more substantial gets released.

When Feig first announced he was doing an all-female reboot I was cautiously optimistic because it was at least NEW; this seems a lot more cautious in its approach than I expected. I\’ll echo what many others have said: McKinnon\’s \’Spengler-from-the-cartoon\’ hair is the most exciting thing about these images, because it\’s the only element that a) seems to have a playful attitude about recontextualizing some of the visuals associated with the original, and b) doesn\’t look like a half-assed tweak.
