Seriously? No mention of the original author of the book? Not even a reminder that this movie is made based on a GREAT book?
Yeah, for those interested, this is based on ”The Martian”, by Andy Weir, self-published in 2011 as his first ever written book. You might want to read it before seeing the movie, as it is one of the most immersive books I ever read (and I read a lot of scifi). I\’m eagerly awaiting for the movie, but at the same time, I know it won\’t blow minds like the book does. I just hope it makes it justice.

good book, not great. the last truly great science fiction novel was William Gibson\’s Neuromancer. should make a thrilling movie with Scott\’s visuals, more sci-fi than Prometheus, which was more science-fantasy.

I very much liked the movie "Martian". The actor Matt Damon played excellently. The plot of the movie carries away and holds you in tension up to the end. I often watch movies with this actor on the site I think you will be able to find on this site movies lovely to your heart.
