I wrote the book that the film is based on and I, like you, can\’t wait to see how the finished product comes out. Producer Jesse Shapira has put together an incredible cast, and themselves some great technical consultants (NHL and minor league players). The real Doug, who the title character in the movie is based on, was very pleased with the fighting still on a technical basis (punching arm and leg position). This is NOT going to be a Mighty Ducks or Youngblood gig.
