While you’ll have to wait until the fall for “Justice League,” if you’re angling for a superhero team-up for the sweaty days of summer, Netflix has got you covered with the forthcoming “Marvel’s The Defenders.” And the first look at the crew is here.

Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Finn Jones (Danny Rand, a.k.a. Iron Fist) unite for the series that will land this summer, threading together the standalone shows that each character has had so far (“Iron Fist” arrives in the spring). However, the heroes may not be ready to work together.
“Every one of them is following their own trail of bread crumbs, trying to unpack a mystery in New York,” showrunner Marco Ramirez told EW. “We wanted them all caught off guard. Once they’re in that room together, it’s kind of like, ‘Oh, s—, who are you?’”
