\’ God Of Carnage \’ is one of my favorite plays in the last few years. I just wish Frances McDormand , Cate Blanchett , or Annette Bening would have portrayed the Jodie Foster role in this film adaptation- they are both commanding and they can easily express the dramatic , comedic, and edgy aspects of the part. Foster is a talented dramatic actress, but she is humorless ( very stiff with comedy ) and not edgy .

Oh, god, that cast! fap fap fap fap…
Seriously, based on the premise I\’d be bored to tears just thinking about it, but with that cast in place, and Polanski directing, this might just be amazing.

For the record, I liked The Ghost Writer quite a bit – it was really no better than a mass-market paperback novel, but sometimes those are awesome! TGW was like a Bourne movie without the shakeycam and tense walking scenes. And no action.
