It\’s just going to be terribly mediocre. It\’ll be the Ideal Studio Product where the film is just unchallenging or unique enough to alienate the average filmgoing audience. Sam Raimi\’s first film for all it\’s faults (it\’s not a very good action film but is otherwise excellent) was still a Sam Raimi film and had a charm all it\’s own. With this I imagine we\’re going to get a by-the-books adaptation ready for sequels to be kicked into quick turnaround.
So yeah, I think the Spiderman Reboot will be an admittedly bland time at the movie theaters. Not terrible, just mediocre. Which might be worse…
