I'll admit the score didn't quite blow me away when I first saw Moon, but listening to it on its own, I'm dazzled.

I think Moon is solid, but perhaps predictable... more importantly there was so much film-geek hype it was hard to gauge.

I'd love to revisit that film in 2-3 years with fresh eyes.

Clint is one of the very few truly original voices in contemporary film music. I had no idea he scored MOON when I went to see the film, but after the first few notes played, I knew it was him. Yet the score didn't sound at all like a rehash or a watered-down version of what he's done before.
Too bad more film composers take the easy way out and phone it in on the smaller budget films they work on.
