At the time, it felt like it fused the insufferable LA self-absorbtion of “Flaked” with the insufferable self-conscious millennial quirks of “Master of None” without doing either better than those shows. I was wrong.

After a recent marathon of “Freaks and Geeks” followed by “Undeclared”, I returned to “Love” to get my Apatow sitcom fix and fell for it this time. Apparently, you just have to be in the right mindset (and soldier through a first episode that is mostly character set up, very little plot…)

Looking forward to Season 2.
