Julia Roberts isnt SUPPOSED to LOOK evil. she said that this queen is one of those people that looks good on the outside and is rotten inside, which I think she is capturing. you can see it in her eyes.

I am very excited for this movie. I think it will be very entertaining and a nice small twist on the original story. My guess is that it will end up as a young adult to young girl favorite as the like of Ella Enchanted and A Cinderella Story before it (:

@ chris i think they are going for the fairy tale look. that alone will appeal to many, esp. children. i think the pics make it look like an interesting movie.

This looks fantastic! I love how Tarsem, Eiko and co seem to be really taking advantage of the fantasy aspect of the story. They\’re very smart to make this a bright and colourful fairy tale film too as it positions it to appeal to family audiences as well.

I\’ve seen a lot of comparisons of Lily Colilins to Audrey Hepburn but she actually reminds me a lot more of a young Elizabeth Taylor with brown eyes rather than blue.

I was actually looking forward to two different SW\’s. Unlike highlander there doesn\’t have to be only one. But I\’m not sure about this one. Costumes are so over the top it looks more like a parody of a fairy tale. Maybe that\’s what they\’re going for. I guess we\’ll see.

Eiko Ishioka does amazing work. Wonder if she will get another oscar nom. for this. As for the pics, looks like they are sticking with their demographics, and that\’s smart for them.

It looks like a bright, silly kids\’ movie. Which is apparently the intention. Stand down, KStew fans. This is obviously not even going after the same demo as your movie. No need to tear it down everytime it\’s mentioned.

Oh gosh, all of my little cousins are going to LOVE this film!

It looks OTT, campy, extravagant, and I know I will be the chaperone at the movies soon lol!

This looks cute, and while I wish they had dyed Julia\’s hair a little darker, she looks fantastic in that first pic.

Can\’t wait to see what Tarsem does with this!

Julia Roberts doesn’t look like an evil villain at all and the crew is very lazy to not transform her appearance for this film.
