Narc was a pretty good movie and clearly Ellroy-inspired. I think Carnahan can pull off White Jazz. He's going to have have some issues to fix though, because White Jazz is a straight follow-up to L.A. Confidential.

Thanks, Playlist. Two very promising projects from an underrated director. Originally Killing Pablo was going to star Christian Bale and Javier Bardem in the leads and White Jazz was going to star George Clooney. Hopefully he can make both films now.

Hoping The Grey is featured in the 2012 indie preview, assuming that is happening?(Not nagging by any means, just unclear if there's going to be any more 2012 preview content. The previews written so far have been incredibly informative).
