Hey Gabe, I found your review quite tendencious… but on the positive side! I mean, no "THE BAD" stuff for me… ya'see, I consider myself the biggest GL fan south of the U.S. border and lemme tell you, regarding GL and its mythos, one couldn't care less about "individual characters". Of course, I know you need to tell the story from the POV of someone the viewer can relate to and this was needed in order to establish the franchise and bla, bla, bla, but in the grand scheme of things relating to GL, it doesn't really matter who is the 'ring bearer'… 'cause the 'concept' and the 'power' is so overwhelmingly 'tempting' and cool and almost god-like that you stop caring about the characters involved in search of the better good and the higher purpose surrounding it… ya' know what I mean? That's what appealed to me in the first place some 25 years ago. Hal Jordan rules. But Hal Jordan comes second. This movie will kick ass at the box office if and ONLY IF marketing centers in the power's possibility rather than the drama surrounding the main character. This is what really sets appart GL from more 'mundane & trivial' concepts like IRON MAN. I couldn't be happier with the way you percieved the script. Congrats on a good script review.

Because I've got the first draft (it got leaked out), and it reads like what you just mentioned.

I agree that the dialog is sitcomy and Hector is more of a filler villain. I think Gil is more 'geek friendly' but I would say give Gil The Flash when that starts!
