To any fan I strongly recommend reading John LeCarre's book. There's so much there that they couldn't put in the film due to time constraints but it proves to be a brilliant adaptation because of the seamlessly recreated world. Reading the book after watching the film is like watching a 10 hour+ version of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in your mind, with Oldman as Smiley and the rest of the perfectly cast characters. It's amazing. Oh and I'm all over this Blu Ray.
