I dated this girl once who would, for lack of a better word, test her boyfriends with Harold and Maude. Apparently I passed the test, but we ended up not lasting. She got married less than a year after we broke up.
If you have not seen Harold and Maude, go rent it and give it a whirl.

I really didn't like Choke or Invisible monsters much. Im waiting for a Lullaby adaptation or at least a Survivor movie.

Choke's soundtrack was a nice surprise, let's hope the whole film ends up being a surprise

Wristcutters took a year but now I hear everyone talking about it. It is a great example of adaptation of story to film. What a film and what a story!!
I have loved Edgar Keret from the moment he started writing stories and can recommend his collection of short stories “The Busdriver Who Wanted to Be God” (Toby Press $12.95)to anyone. The last story in this volume “Kneller’s Happy Campers” is the story that Wristcutters was based upon. If you like reading half as much as watching movies: Enjoy!

Thanks for the screengrabs on this film. . . you sure are missing an actual, laugh-out-loud read with this one. It was definitely the last great Palahniuk book. (I think the rest of his catalog's just written so he can keep his complimentary Suicide Girls account.)

Sam Rockwell's perfect for this film, but, I just hope it's not relegated to indie cult status bins.
