Go to Scriptshadow to check it out. While it has humorous moments–the idea of a drunk Ferrell on his lawn makes is reminscent of the SNL sketch "get off the damn roof!"–it is not a funny movie. Protag is a self destructive alcoholic who has to go through a a literal and materialistic purge of his possessions before addressing his own shortcomings. The ending is not unicorns and ice cream (the opposite of "Fiction") so this will definitely test his acting chops. Very excited to see this is happening and curious to see if Ferrell can pull it off.
