when you like a film and think it works really well, is it just a reflex to then try and find things you don\’t like? i found your review a little too \”doesn\’t everyone know i have a film school certificate?\”. i also think you\’re terribly wrong about the script and score. i loved the music. i\’ll be paying for this movie when it comes out, even after seeing it for free at a screening.

141 minutes sounds about right — it\’s not a brief film for sure. I didn\’t time it, though, could be less.

As for The National tracks, it closes on About Today, off the Cherry Tree EP. I believe the opening was Sorrow, off High Violet, but I might have mixed it up with something else.
