In the trailer, not only does he say, "That's GAY" but he then EXPLAINS why "gay" can pass as a negative insult, in effect excusing anyone who uses that brand of hate speech. And it's from one of the most commercially-successful filmmakers of all time. No, I don't think it should be brushed under the rug.

Then again, Ron Howard needs his ass kicked for a LOT of things.
