Read it and...it's ok. Potential spoilers ahead.<br /><br />These sorts of films usually read better than they turn out. It was sort of a sci fi version of "Vantage Point." About the third or fourth time you are forced to sit through an identical scene (with a couple of new details) it gets boring because nothing is actually at risk. The tension is entirely intellectual: solve the mystery or...we'll force you to watch the scene again. And since we have already experienced the worst possible outcome for the scene (repeatedly) and it has no real world repercussions for our hero, the tension actually dissipates rather than builds . I know people love this script in the same passionate way they loved the script for "Law Abiding Citizen." But unless Jones brings a game changing perspective to the direction (in the same way the Wachowski's shook the world with the first "Matrix"), I don't see this picture being a big deal.

No, I didn't have a huge problem with the very ending, it's more that I found the "stop the bomber" plot petered out quite quickly, and in sort of an unsatisfactory way - I didn't buy the bomber's motivation particularly. But again, that stuff is Billy Ray's bread and butter, and I'm sure that's why he's been brought on.
