In reply to Goblin Shark. Haha! Perhaps. Though counting only the people you've met is a biased and comparatively small sample, unless you're the Dalai Lama. He's met quite a few people. LOL. But it is never the less a huge hit, and part of the classic Sandler cannon. And kids love it. I doubt it would live on to this day (Netflix) had the character been mis-cast with a dramatic actor. My point simply being you can't compare the talents of Gyllenhaal to Sandler. Further to Sandler's credit he worked in the dramatic realm with PT Anderson! So the ball's really in Jake's court to do a slap-stick comedy! Perhaps Sandler is more talented than Jake after all. Poof! Mind officially blow! Lol. Thanks for the distraction.

And then engage in ranking talent based on acting merit. I wonder how entertaining Jake would be in Happy GiImour or Four weddings and a Funeral? He is a dramatic method actor.
